Womin Djika – meaning Come with Purpose – is written above the front doorway of the Centre. We invite everyone visiting the centre to have a sense of purpose, whether that’s to collaborate, celebrate, learn, work or create in a special and permanent home for LGBTQIA+ communities.

We respectfully acknowledge that the Victorian Pride Centre exists on the land of the Yaluk-ut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung Peoples. We extend this acknowledgement to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.
